ABOUT US - rekindling the wild
Our story begins with love.
Love for three beautiful souls whose lives lit our skies and whose absence carves quiet echoes in our days. It is for them we walk this path.
It is for them that Rekindling the Wild was born.
Patrick Birley
Patrick, a sunbeam in human form. An effervescent soul, the connector of hearts. He gathered people like constellations, his laughter a light that could break any darkness. We feel him in every moment of joy, every act of kindness. His spirit dances through our work.
Todd was a storm and a sunrise. Bold, untamed, impossible to forget. A brother, a son, a soul stitched with resilience. He carried a fire within him, a determination that burned through every setback, every silence.
He lived fiercely, loved deeply - and never stopped fighting for light in the darkest places. Todd reminds us, always, to keep going, to rise, to rebel. To rekindle the wild within us all.

Sarah, our dancing girl. Therapist, mother, free spirit, friend. She moved through the world with grace in her hands and wisdom in her eyes. Her compassion was a language of its own, spoken in silence, felt in full. There is a space no one else can fill but her light guides us always.

and now for us…
Therapist and mother, coach and friend, we came together to give a voice to the young people who are far too often slipping through the net. Witness to their struggles to be seen and understood, by a system with limited resources and ability to change. Through seeing these struggles comes the promise that breathes life into our work:
To listen without judgement. To create spaces where every young soul feels held. To be a hand in the dark and a spark when the fire feels lost. Through our own experiences, we connect with our learners on a deeper level, showing them that they are capable and can achieve great things.
Rekindling the Wild is more than a name, it’s a legacy.
A love letter to those we’ve lost and a lighthouse for those still finding their way.
Rooted in memory, grown from grief, blooming always in hope.
