Supporting learners to
Manage emotional wellbeing
Grow in confidence
ENGAGE IN EDUCATION
What is ready2rise?
Ready2Rise is a structured early-intervention programme designed to support learners who have been identified as needing support during the transition from primary to secondary school.
The programme provides targeted support at an early stage, helping pupils to build the skills and confidence they need to engage positively with learning and secondary school life. Ready2Rise is delivered in partnership with schools and aligns with local authority early help and inclusion priorities.
Designed in collaboration with therapists, coaches, teachers and students, Ready2Rise covers all areas of the transition experience - from behaviour expectations in secondary environments, sensory changes and organisation. Learners begin to take control of their emotional wellbeing, encouraged to face their worries surrounding transition in a supportive, nurturing environment.
Schools and local authorities are increasingly supporting pupils who present with emerging emotional needs, reduced confidence, and difficulties engaging with learning. Without timely support, these challenges can escalate, placing pressure on pastoral systems, SEND provision, and specialist services.
Ready2Rise has been developed to provide preventative support before difficulties become more entrenched, helping pupils to feel calmer, more confident, and better able to participate in education. This early, preventative action not only benefits pupils, but reduces pressures on staff and the need for most costly interventions further in their education journey.
